We wanted to thank Angel of Cohere, LLC for posting this wonderful note about so many of the people behind PodCamp Fort Collins.

PodCamp Fort Collins #1 will be hosted at Cohere! Here’s what Angel wrote on the fccoworking tumblr:

I’d like to take a moment to re-recognize some of the people that have been instrumental in Cohere coming to life so quickly.  Cali (@caligater) brought it to my attention that Cohere will officially open 89 days after I learned the word “coworking.”  Holy Crap!  Nobody and I mean nobody can pull something like that off by themselves.  Here are a few of the people who have been rockstars so far in no particular order:

Suzanne Akin (@smallakin): She is my generator.  Always ready to hear my ideas and transform them into designs and tangibles that rock my world.  See above website mockup which she created from a 1 hour meeting, a couple of random links and a visit to the work site.  You might also recognize her name as the creator of the Cohere logos….all 22 of them to start and another 12 versions after the vote for my branding kit.  She is largely responsible for the way that Cohere’s brand looks and feels and quite frankly, why everyone loves it.  Find her at www.akinz.com.

Julie Sutter (@juliesutter):  She is my mirror.  Julie has a bright disposition and has been a loyal and constant coworker since the very first meeting.  When I talk with Julie I feel like she reflects back exactly what I need to hear to help guide decisions.  She is also responsible for offering her amazing writing talents to me in the form of a professional press release that I would have never been able to produce without her.  You can find her at www.articulatecity.com.

Liz Sunshine (@shirjoycreative): She is my earth:  Liz and I became fast friends when we realized that we’re the most linear and to-do list oriented people within the creative circles where we like to reside.  Our first girl-date was to accomplish several errands on a shared to-do list that was stuck to my dashboard. We did and then celebrated with pizza.  Liz always has a open ear when I get frustrated and never judges me for well, anything.  She is also a gifted and knowledgable graphic designer who taught me about the wonder of typography.  You can find her at www.shirjoycreative.com.

Nick Armstrong (@imnickarmstrong): He is my *insert joke about anything here*:  His flexible nature, constant laugh and willingness to take and tell jokes puts him high on my list of people to be sure and keep around.  Nick has been instrumental in spreading the word about Cohere via social media and offering to host the first PodCamp Fort Collins at Cohere on 3.12/13.  Nick gets community and social media and is the coolest career helper I’ve ever met.  You can find him at www.iamnickarmstrong.com.

Lucinda Kerschensteiner & Chris Jobin: They are my rocks.  Ever available to patch me up emotionally or to let me talk/process out loud for hours about EVERYTHING is what keeps my mind sound and my decisions smack on target.  Lucinda excels at just about anything she tries but she’s most passionate about solving social problems with business solutions in Africa as a social entrepreneur.  You can find Lucinda at www.lucindak.com.  Chris is in the middle of finding her next, great passion and when she does, it will be amazing.  If you want to connect with Chris email me at fccoworking@gmail.com.

Kevin Buecher (@kevinbuecher):  Kevin is my spark:  He is the one who told me about coworking on 12.16.09.  89 days later, Fort Collins’ first full time membership based coworking facility will open!  Kevin builds community by being in the right places, asking the right questions and listening to the answers.  Kevin is building a life for himself that I can’t do justice to by trying to explain it.  Talk to Kevin directly for an uplifting and enlightening look at how different the world can look if you change your perspective.  www.kevinbuecher.com.

Cali (@caligater) is my flashlight:  Cali turns on the light at just the right moment to illuminate what was previously hidden to me.  We just met yesterday and had a one hour conversation that I’m sure will benefit both of us long term.  She shed light on one of my passions that had gone dormant over the past several months: giving people permission to pursue their passion even if it means sitting in the fog holding a flashlight while you wait for the right person or idea to turn it on for you.  You can find Cali at http://blog.caligater.com/.
